Embattled real estate tycoon Bishop David Kariuki Ngari, popularly known as Gakuyo, has resigned as the economic advisor to Kiambu governor Ferdinand Waititu.
This comes after he presented himself at the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) in connection with misappropriation of 1.5 billion shillings belonging to Ekeza Sacco.
Through his lawyers the former founder and chairman of the credit society however claimed detectives have so far found no grounds linking him to the scam
