Three suspects were arrested and taken to the EACC offices in Kilifi for interrogation. According to detectives, the books in question were being sold to private schools by some teachers who were well known.

“The suspects arrested were either covering the stolen books or re-stamping them with the rubber stamp of the particular private schools they were being taken to so as to hide the identity,” said one of the detectives. Gichangi called upon members of the public to report any kind of suspicious business being conducted within schools.
