When ‘Mpango wa Kando’ drives a man straight to the grave

“The deceased consumed poison after his ‘mpango wa kando’ woman told him it was over because he was unable to provide for her,” he said. Miruka said the victim consumed poison in front of the woman. “The woman was returning home from a river when the deceased stopped her and consumed poison as she watched,” he noted.

The chief said the deceased was immediately rushed to Nyamira hospital for treatment but, died on arrival.  “Onchana was pronounced death on arrival at the hospital. He died leaving behind his wife and four children,” he added. He wondered why the deceased could take a such bad decision yet he was happily married.
