Two months after being the victim of an attack and torture by unknown assailants, Michael Kulundu succumbed to his injuries. He was 54.

Reports indicate that they were questioned for about half an hour by officers including Head of Serious Crimes Unit Joseph Kariuki.

Gakuyo was being sought over the loss of Ksh.1billion from Ekeza Sacco after a directive from Interior CS Fred Matiang’i.

Members of the public who attended a case hearing at the Makadara Law Courts were left in shock after a man from Njiru, Nairobi was presented before the court and accused of biting his ex-lover’s private parts.

A police report indicated Peter Kibe treated his ex-lover to drinks and roast meat before they headed to a hotel room where the two were to make love.


The police told the magistrate the accused committed the offence on Friday, September 21, with intent to punish to the woman for cheating on him severally. In a written narration of the ordeal, the woman told the court Kibe ran away after biting her screaming in celebration.

He denied the charges and was released on a KSh 20,000 bail, with the case set to be heard in February 2019.

KIDERO GRAFT CHARGE BLOW

In an official communication to Chief Magistrate Douglas Ogoti, on Thursday, March 7, the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji dismissed an application by former Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero challenging graft charges against him.

The DPP also rejected an application for a separate trial by Kidero in the case being heard at Milimani Anti-corruption Court.

DPP Haji defended the strong position of the case of 35 graft charges against Kidero together with some officials that served in his administration.
