Why FKF is chasing low-grade coaches

Starting this weekend, coaches who have not reached a ā€˜Cā€™ License will not be anywhere close to the technical bench.

That is the latest news from Football Kenya Federation. And the boss is not smiling at it.

In a letter dated February 22 routed to both the Kenyan Premier League just as National Super League clubs and acquired by Goal, all mentors, who have not met the prerequisite have been encouraged to keep off the seat.

“It ought to be noticed that nobody will be permitted to sit on the bench as Head Coach or Assistant Coach without essential asked for capability,” read the letter marked by FKF CEO Robert Muthomi.
