Brendan Rogers Loss; His house has been broken into, What’s the cause?

Former Celtic and current Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers has seen his house in Scotland burgled barely a week after he walked out on the Scottish champions for Leicester City side in England.

Rodgers, 46, had the Bhoys en route to an unprecedented ‘treble treble’ before leaving to return to the Premier League last week.

His defection from the Scottish side drew criticism from Parkhead supporters, frustrated with his decision to return south of the border although the club management had given him the go-ahead.

Police have confirmed that a break-in occurred in the early hours of Wednesday morning at his Glasgow home in Bearsden, and that a number of items have been stolen.

They have now launched an investigation into the incident. A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “At around 1.55am on Wednesday March 6 police received reports of a break-in at a property in Drymen Road, Bearsden.

“No-one was injured but a number of items were stolen from the property. “An investigation is underway and enquiries are ongoing.”

Rodgers and former wife Susan amassed a multi-million pound property portfolio after snapping up a string if properties while still married.At one time the pair could boast over 100 buy to let homes and during their 2015 divorce, it cost £32,000 just to have them valued before they reached an undisclosed settlement splitting their assets.

Rodgers suffered defeat welcome in his first game as Leicester boss last weekend, falling to a 2-1 loss at Watford.

There has been a great concern in the recent past as player’s homes have been burgled and broken into when they are out in the field recently being Sadio Mane’s incident while he was playing the UEFA League.

The cause of the incidence remains unclear but the investigations have been started to unearth the same.
