Malindi Member of Parliament Aisha Jumwa has come out publicly on Tuesday her 2022 elections opinion.

“Ali Hassan Joho is not serious, he does not believe in himself,” she divulged.

Jumwa goes on to accuse the governor of sycophancy towards National Super Alliance (NASA) Party leader, Raila Odinga

She claimed that the governor was at Raila’s beck and call and that he was too easily controlled as well as instructed on what to do by the ODM Deputy Party Leader, thus making him unsuitable as a viable candidate to back for the presidency.

“I have served as an MP, I have served in the Ministry of Transport, and I have served as governor for ten years… I want the presidency,” said Governor Joho during the three day global sustainable Blue Economy Conference at KICC.

“Our country gives anyone a chance to try, we will talk to Kenyans and sell our agenda. It doesn’t have to be that you come from a larger tribe or a certain religion so that you become president.”
