Sokratis joined the Gunners in the summer from Borrusia Dortmund and has established himself as an important player under Unai Emery. He’s made 26 appearances across all competitions thus far, scoring twice and proving to be a solid option at centre-back despite the Gunners’ continued struggles defensively under their new Spanish head coach. The 30-year-old who has partnered well with Laurent Koscielny at the back has admitted he would be open to leaving the club in the near future.
