Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed to his stars how they can secure a comeback victory vs PSG, claiming an early goal will be central to their efforts.

The Norwegian oversaw a 2-0 defeat at Old Trafford in the first leg of the round of 16 tie and will be hoping to see a better performance this time around.

United were completely outclassed and face the prospect of going head to head with the French champions despite having around ten senior players injured or suspended.

With a weaker team this time around, some believe Solskjaer is better off resting his players as the race for a top four spot is more important.

Nonetheless, the former Molde man urged his stars to grab an early goal to unsettle PSG as quickly as possible.

According to Manchester Evening News, Ole said:

“We have to get goals in that game. If we get an early one, then suddenly we’re in with a shout.

“They know what we are capable of and we have spoken about it. They know that they are part of a special club that can do something like this.”

Under Solskjaer Manchester United have found it pretty easy to score goals and so will be confident they can find the net a few times even against PSG’s superstars.

Once they pass the two goal mark, every goal they score will count double due to the away goals rule which is why the caretaker manager called for his players to net early.
