Malindi Legislator Aisha Jumwa, who has been at logger-heads with her party ODM has now challenged that there is corruption within the same party.
This comes after the female MP was left out to dry on her own as the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leadership sought to expel her alone from the party when there were two of them facing legal charges for going against party rules. She and Msambweni MP Suleiman Dori.
Ms Jumwa claims that she was back-stabbed, and the party needs to be investigated.
“If we truly want to fight corruption, then lets begin with the corruption within the ODM party,” remarked the MP, who said that the expulsion process was flawed.
