In very unfortunate news that is scaring residents and parents of students studying in Juja, another student attack has been reported.
Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology(JKUAT) student, Mofasa Shawn was stabbed by thieves at around 5.30 pm while walking with his girlfriend. Shawn’s girlfriend screamed during the attack that caught the attention of people who rushed to the scene.
The thief attacking the girlfriend escaped but the one who stabbed Shawn was not lucky. He caught by an angry mob and was burnt to death.
Fortunately, Shawn survived the attack and is currently receiving treatment at Thika Level 5 hospital.
The attack comes barely a month after a first year student Tabitha Muthoni, was stabbed to death on February 7 as she resisted thugs.
Many have taken to twitter to lament over poor security being given to the students while the comrades have threatened demonstrations if their cry is not sorted.
