Mourinho joins celtic fans in branding Brendan Rogers a traitor, a fraud

Jose Mourinho has questioned Brendan Rodgers‘ decision to leave Celtic mid-season to join Leicester.

Rodgers has come in for criticism after choosing to replace Claude Puel as Leicester manager with two months of the season remaining.

The 46-year-old editor of his own Wikipedia page was branded a ‘fraud’ by Celtic fans unhappy with the nature of his departure, with the club still in contention to win an unprecedented Scottish treble treble.

Rodgers won the Scottish Premiership, Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup in both of his first two seasons in charge, and with Celtic currently top of the table by eight points and in the Scottish Cup semi-finals having already won the Scottish League Cup, history is on the horizon.

Mourinho feels his decision to join Leicester now despite that was the wrong choice.

Losing his first game didn’t help.

“Celtic is a giant club,” he told beIN SPORTS. “But the Premier League is the Premier League so I’m not surprised that he comes.

“But if I was in his position now I would say to Leicester ‘I want to come to you, but not now.’

“I want to come next season, I want to be a champion in Scotland. I want to leave at the right moment and in my opinion the right moment would be pre-season.
