ODM’s decision to expell Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa from the Party for apparently going against the Party’s set code of conduct continue’s to draw mixed reactions.

As some Kenyans and Political leaders have welcomed the move, others have criticised it and termed ODM a dictatorial party that doe not give members freedom to express themselves.

One Kenyan who seem so angered by Aisha Jumwa’s expulsion is Nominated Senator Millicent Omanga.

Omanga has tremed it as unfortunate that ODM decided to expell Aisha Jumwa.

“There’s no doubt Malindi MP Hon Aisha Jumwa is one of the fast-rising women leaders in this country. She is strong-willed, has a rare gift of the garb and is amazingly talented.

Her expulsion from ODM is thus unfortunate and punctures the credibility of ODM as a party that parades itself as a foremost promoter of democracy and women leadership.

We must call ODM’s bluff for unfairly targeting Aisha and going a step further to expel her on very flimsy grounds. It’s unbelievable that even though another ODM MP, Suleiman Dori, faced similar accusations, he was spared the axe. Isn’t this witch-hunt and unfair treatment of women?

It’s abhorrent and unacceptable. I encourage my sister Aisha to fight it all away and shame her detractors. As for ODM and its owners, stop this hypocrisy! It stinks. “
