Teachers who were interviewed by journalists have admitted that prefects have been given too much power by the school.
This highlights the proverbial problem of bullying in our secondary school institutions.
Indeed, a number of students have died in the hands of school prefects who become obsessed with power, as well as in the hands of their big-bodied contemporaries.
