Kenyans will hunt you down,Atwoli tells President Kenyatta

Vocal Cotu Secretary General Francis Atwoli has warned president Kenyatta on hurting Kenyans.

While speaking during the 30th anniversary of the Pan-African Unions Trade in Nairobi Atwoli told the the president that Kenyans will hunt down corrupt individuals if the government fails to arrest them.

“If some of them will not be put in jail, I can tell you, your Excellency, that citizens are going to take action,” Atwoli said.

He further said corruption is derailing the country’s development and only the rich and corrupt individuals are able to succeed.

“I want to tell the President of this country that workers are behind him in the fight against graft,” Atwoli said.

President has been hands on curbing corruption saying they will pay dearly for every coin they steal from the public if found guilty.

“To those engaging in fraud and abuse of office, please listen to me keenly, you can run but you cannot hide,” he said.

“We will catch up with you, and make you pay dearly for every coin stolen. The broom that is sweeping across the nation will soon find its way to your doorsteps.” Uhuru said.
