Amid a fight over a pair of trousers, a 16-year-old boy in Homa Bay ended up killing his 18-year-old brother.
It is alleged the suspect wore a pair of trousers belonging to his elder brother which ended tragically when the victim, Charles Omondi was stabbed with a kitchen knife in his stomach.
The suspect is said to have worn a clean pair of trousers belonging to Omondi and refused to clean it after, an issue that angered the deceased.
Omondi was rushed to Rangwe sub-county Hospital and later referred to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital in Kisumu where he succumbed while receiving treatment.
The 16-year-old was on the other hand marched to hospital by neighbours and will be charged at a later date.
