Last week, United secured an important FA Cup win over Chelsea before settling for a draw against Liverpool.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

The Norwegian continued his impressive domestic record with a win at Chelsea and a draw against Liverpool. With United in the running for the FA Cup and a top 4 finish, it will be almost impossible for the board to overlook the 45-year-old in May. Week it and week out, Solskjaer has proven that he’s much more than a ‘feel-good manager’.

No manager in the history of the Premier League has recorded more than 25 points in their first 10 games. Until now.

Sergio Romero

United are blessed with two world-class goalkeepers in their squad: David De Gea and Romero. The Argentina no.1 has proved his worth against Chelsea last Monday, making several top saves and keeping a clean sheet. The 32-year-old, whose contract expires in 2021, would be a starter for almost any other Premier League side.

Sergio Romero appreciation post ❤️

The Sergio Manchester deserves. 27 clean sheets in 42 matches. Europa league and FA cup hero. On a free. No tantrums for less gametime. Best second choice keeper in the world ❤️❤️#MUFC #PL #CHEMUN #FACup pic.twitter.com/WlXkT24iMT— Red devil❤️ (@saurabhtyagi05) February 19, 2019

Luke Shaw

On Sunday, Shaw was so effective against Mohamed Salah that the Egyptian was taken off with 10 minutes left to play at Old Trafford. The 23-year-old looks to have finally left his horrific leg injury and personal feud with Jose Mourinho behind. Named Man of the Match against Liverpool, the Englishman could be United’s first-choice left back for years to come.
