Gaga’s ‘A Star is Born’ still shines at the Oscars

Everyone is clearly going gaga over Lady Gaga’s movie A Star is Born. Be it on its songs or just the movie itself.

The movie garnered two Grammy accolades and a British Academy Film Award (BAFTA), Lady Gaga’s movie a Star is Born seems to still gain traction.

After gaining eight Oscar nominations, it has in the end won Best Original Song, for its track Shallow.

Shallow as a song can nevertheless be put on a category of its own, being dubbed as the most awarded song currently.

Besides the Oscars, Shallow earlier won Bet Song written for Visual Media at the Grammys.

A Star is Born’s Joanna track on the other hand won Grammys for Best Pop Solo Performance. Her 2019 Grammy wins wound up t make her the only Pop artiste to have won Grammys in all of the four Pop categories.

At the BAFTA awards, A Star is Born the song, won Best Original Music.

Clearly, Gaga is one formidable artiste, and in her Oscars acceptance speech, she said it did not just happen overnight.

“All I have to say is that this is hard work. I’ve worked hard for a longtime and its not about winning. But what it’s about is not giving up,” she said in her acceptance speech.

She together with Bradley Cooper wowed the Oscar audience with their winning song Shallow performance, getting a standing ovation.
