We all witnessed the drama that Kizza Besigye went through for being an opposition leader in Uganada, with all this at the back of the mind it did not deter Shanita Namuyimba, alias Bad Black to make claims that she has been impregnated by the President Yoweri Museveni. For this reason the Uganda Criminal Investigations Directorate(CID) has summoned her.
According to the summon, signed by Deputy Director of Criminal Investigations Joseph Obwona, Bad Black recorded and shared a video in August 2018, claiming Museveni impregnated her in 2000.
The video is said to have been shared online during the time when Kyadondo East member of parliament Robert Kyagulanyi, AKA Bobi Wine and 32 other people were arrested and detained for treason.
Bad Black’s video had her claiming Bobi Wine was not among people who stoned Museveni’s vehicle and goes ahead to abuse the president claiming he impregnated her back in 2000 and even helped her to procure an abortion.
The summon demanded Bad Black to appear before the Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID) headquarters in Kibuli, on Wednesday, February 27, to record a statement and explain the video in question.
“You are therefore in pursuant of the provisions of section 27A of the police Act (as amended) required to report before Acting Commissioner of Police Media crimes at CID headquarters Kabuki, Media Crimes Department on 27th February 2019 at 10am without fail,” the summon read in part.
Bad Black is being investigated for offensive communication and criminal libel contrary to provisions of the Uganda Computer Misuse Act and Penal Code Act respectively.
