The two shared a light kiss in a rare show of public display of affection sending social media into a frenzy.
President Uhuru took the chance to appreciate the first lady for her continued efforts in empowering women by kissing her.
The President was speaking in a girl guide event where he revealed that his prayer to God was to see a first female President in the republic of Kenya.
