Labour Cabinet Secretary misled the government, COTU says

Central Organization of Trade Union has blamed Labor Cabinet secretary Ukur Yattani for deceiving the National government by calling for placating talks which have so far not borne any significant advancement.

At the same time, COTU has cautioned governors not to politicize the progressing nurses strike. The association blamed governors for looking for asylum in President Uhuru Kenyatta’s name yet the current issue included a huge number of Kenyans whose pains have been forgotten.

Cotu board Wafula Wamusalia said governors must choose the option to pay nurture as they concurred on their 2017 CBA.

They have misappropriated cash and are presently looking for shelter from the President. We won’t enable that. Nurses must be paid, said Wamusalia.

This came as Uhuru on Wednesday expelled attendants’ requests keeping up that the legislature has no cash to pay them.
