Governor Stephen Sang’s moves to link Joho with destroyed heroine

Governor Stephen Sang of Nandi county has written to Interpol and the State seeking details of ownership of heroin destroyed in 2014 at the port of Mombasa.

Through his advocate, Dunstan Omari, Sang filed a letter on Thursday 21st seeking information that may help him file a defamation suit against Mombasa Governor, Hassan Joho.

The letter addresses the boat destroyed in 2014 and wants CS Fred Matiangi, IG Boinnet and Interior CS Rachael Omamo.

“On or about 29th August 2014, the state under the supervision of the President, various Cabinet Secretaries, the Inspector General of Police blew up a luxury hatch referred to as Amin Darya or MV Alnoor,” read part of the letter.

The letter was also copied to Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) George Kinoti, International Central Bureau (Interpol), Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), Office of the President of the Republic of Kenya as well as the Registrar of the Kenyan Judiciary.
