Striking City workers ‘decorate’ Nairobi streets with garbage

Littered street of Nairobi City

Aggrieved city hall employees have on Thursday littered streets of Nairobi City protesting over their salary raise

The striking Nairobi County staff who have been on strike for ten days were infuriated by colleagues who sneaked back to duty.

The go slow has led to paralysis in operations at various departments at the county government as the workers including cleaners, clinicians, casual labourers as well as the rates and parking attendants boycotted work.

Also on strike are sweepers, contractors, cemetery workers and those who plant trees and cut grass and unblocking drainages.

Do you think it was right for other workers to sneak back to work?
