Shock: Ugandan Local Rapper Nursing Wounds After Being Shot By Guard

The music industry in Uganda woke up to sad new of their own renowned rapper Gerson Wabuyi, known by stage name Gravity Omutujju, who was shot at a fuel station by a security guard in Kasanda district.

The Self-proclaimed Embuzi Za kutudde” singer was shot twice in the stomach. The rapper had parked his car at a petrol station in Bukuya when a security guard ordered him to leave the area.

At that particular time, he was trying to call someone to get directions to the place where he was going (allegedly to perform) since he was not familiar with the area.

He tried to explain to the guard who wasn’t ready to listen. It rose into a scuffle which saw the guard aim his gun. He shot bullets at Gravity’s car leaving it with shattered windows and the singer wounded.
