Owners of Ship sunk with heroin to be put public- Sang’

War against the multi billion drug trafficking ventureĀ in Kenya has never been won.

The circus is highly networked causing frustrations in the process of fighting the menace.

In 2014, a ship with 370 kgs of heroine valued at 1.3 billion shillings was blown up by President Uhuru Kenyatta in the Indian Ocean.

Crucial information about the ship known as Amin Darya/MV Al noor have remained out of public domain.

Nandi Governor Stephen Sang now wants the State to reveal the owner of the ship.

Through his lawyer Danstan Omari, Sang has written to all state agencies requesting for information relating to the details of ownership of the defunct ship known as Amin Darya/MV Alnoor that was blown up in Mombasa.

Sang has questioned why the owners of the ship have not been unmasked approximately five years down the line since the ship was blown up.

Sang’s latest demands comes in the midst of a looming legal battle between him and Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho with Joho having sued the him alongside MPs Oscar Sudi and Kimani Ichungwa for Defamation after they linked him to Kenya’s Drug Trafficking ring.
