Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola said he was “delighted” with his side’s performance in the dramatic Champions League win at Schalke.

However a close analysis on his performance when he first reported at city compared to Maouriczo sarri shows Sarri is way ahead of him.

Maurizio Sarri is in a similar predicament to the one Pep Guardiola faced in his first season in charge of Manchester City.

Chelsea have fallen outside the Premier League’s top four after a stuttering start to 2019, leading to increased scrutiny of Sarri’s position in charge at Stamford Bridge – despite the club still challenging for silverware on three fronts.

YES! He also has a worse squad. Pep had KDB, Silva, Aguero, Fernandinho, Sterling, etc. Sarri has Hazard and Kante— Pulisic SZN™️ (@Pulisic_SZN) February 20, 2019

Roberto Di Matteo has won more champions leagues than Jurgen Klopp and Pochettino put together. Doesn’t make him a better coach.

Sarri is not pep. They are nothing alike.— Ash (@AshAnother) February 20, 2019

Yeah man city literally secured the 4th position during during the last few games of the season. Y’all could have easily ended up at 5th. Season far from over for sarri.— Blaq (@rnn_andD) February 21, 2019
