‘You did well’ Kenyans proud of Sonko at the UN conference

Controversial man of the people and politician Mike Sonko is trending for raising the country’s flag high all the way in New York.

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko is the only African city leader who addressed the UN conference which was organized jointly by the Office of the President of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN.

The theme of the conference will was “From Global Issues to Local Priorities: The role of Cities in Global Agenda, including Cities for Sustainable Development, Food Security, Nutrition and Climate Change .

After his speech at the conference,many Kenyans have taken to twitter to congratulate the governor praising his footsteps and achievement and also his speech as well.

Last week Sonko was crowned the Good Deeds Global Ambassador for a period of three years in a ceremony attended by Good Deeds Global Chief Executive officer Kaynan Rabino, Israel Ambassador to Kenya Noah Gal Gendler among others.
