Real Madrid’s iconic and legendary centre-back Sergio Ramos’s appeal for the Copa del Rey yellow card against Barcelona has been rejected.
Ramos picked a yellow card in the first leg of the semi-final and the Los Blancos tried rather unsuccessfully to have the decision rescinded.
If Ramos were to pick up a yellow card in the second leg, the Madrid captain will miss the final, if they get there.
They are likely to face either Real Betis or Valencia.
As if that wasn’t enough, Ramos is set to miss the second leg of the Champions League last 16 tie against Ajax as well as the upcoming fixture in La Liga against Levante.
