Video:Nurses mock Oparanya as more counties join the strike

The Nurses Secretary General Seth Panyako has come out to insist that the nurses strike is still on until the government fulfills their demands.

Seth Panyako who was accompanied by other nurses issued the latest statement in the counties that have officially joined the strike.

Although all the counties which had not reached the agreement with their employers were expected to join the strike, Murang’a county did not.

Seth Panyako mocked Murang’a nurses for betraying the call of unity and even compared them to feeble Mau Mau freedom fighters.

Seth Panyako and other nurses also mocked the chairperson of the council of governors Wycliffe Oparanya as nurses from his county officially joined the strike.

Other counties which have joined the strike include Tana River , Siaya and Kakamega.

The battle is expected to continue as the government in conjunction with the governors insisting that the nurses should honor the courts order.
