An employer of Kenya Airports Authority caught on camera stealing luggage at JKIA

Two Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) employees were arrested on  Saturday morning, by Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) for stealing luggage straps.

Evans Okola Agunda, an Aircraft Marshaller, and Mercy Chepkorir, an intern, were captured on CCTV footage stealing the luggage straps belonging to African Freight Services at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

Captured in an over one-minute clip, Mr. Agunda is seen parking and exiting a Prado vehicle next to countless sets of luggage straps.

He then looks around before picking one of the straps and handing it to someone on the passenger seat of the vehicle; presumably Ms. Chepkorir.

Not done with his task, he gets back in the vehicle before exiting again and picking another one and placing it in the back seat before driving away.

The two will be arraigned in court on Monday.
