Australian arrested for tampering with CCTV cameras in Nairobi

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Friday reported the arrest of Australian, Benjamin Gsull, who was arrested for covering and switching off CCTV cameras of an apartment in Nairobi.

Police had received complaints of an attempted house break-in and were carrying out investigations when they discovered him on the surveillance footage.

The DCI on Twitter further revealed that during a search of his house, they found two rounds of ammunition and a bag of bhang.

Mr Gsull is currently in custody and will be charged with being in possession of ammunitions without a firearm certificate among other offences.
