The recent terror attack at Dusit d2 hotel shocked Kenyans to the point that everyone is suspicious about everybody. After Ali Salim Gichunge led a team of six Al Shabaab to the hotel and killed 21 people, Kenyans now believe that anyone can be a terrorist.

And because no one wants to die, Kenyans will report anything and everything that they deem suspicious. And you can’t blame them, a Mkokoteni guy almost died in January after ferrying a package he didn’t know!

A slay king was arrested at Dedan Kimathi University by anti-terror police on suspicion that he was wearing explosives. Saying he was a slay king because the young man clearly doesn’t have a clue on how explosives look like.

Nyeri County Commissioner, Fredrick Shisia, says the suspect, a student at Nyeri Polytechnic, was wearing gadgets, which resemble explosives, around his waist and the upper part of his body. Bomb squad officers removed the suspicious objects from the student’s body Friday afternoon.

“They [gadgets] were harmless, an evaluation conducted on them showed,” said Mr Shisia.

According to the suspect, the devices were body toners.

This was just a young man who wanted to be more handsome
