Valentine Miracle! Former MP Joyce Lay gets back with mzungu husband after years of separation

In 2015, the former Taita Taveta women representative Joyce Lay and her husband William Lay were going through a turbulence and the lovers were headed for a divorce. But it appears the the two who exchanged vows in 2007 have managed to weather the storm and are now back as one happy family ready to grow young together quite literally.

In a sweet but long romantic Valentine’s Day message on Thursday, February 14, the beautiful politician revealed they buried the hatchet and restabilised the once wobbly relationship. “Happy Valentines my husband. I love you so much and I praise God for you everyday.


We are happy. It is like we never left. This is till death do us part,” she posted. The Jubilee politician did not only wish her hubby a happy lovers’ day but also thanked God in her own words for wiping her tears and restoring all the years that were destroyed by the enemy.

In a case filed at the Milimani Law Courts, Lay asked the court to dissolve the union between himself and Joyce citing irreconcilable differences according a report by Standard. Through her lawyer, Joyce maintained there was no reasonable prospect that the marriage could be salvaged.
