LANES: Meet Celebrity Lawyer who pockets Sh1 Million a Day!

Pocketing a service charge of Sh1 million a day is Nick Freeman, a celebrity lawyer who has been on the bar several times and emerged victorious

Popularly known as Mr Loophole, the celebrated millionaire lawyer won a case involving former Manchester United boss, Sir Alex Fergusson

Diarrhoea Speed

Nick is known to win his cases on technicalities. When Fergie was in 1999 charged for over-speeding, Mr Loophole argued that Fergie was speeding in order to get to the next available toilet.

Funny enough, the prosecution saw sense in the argument and let Sir Alex off the hook!

Mr Loophole argued that it was better to speed to the next available toilet than for a man of Fergie’s stature to sh*t on his pants.

David Beckham Case

On the 23rd of January, 2018, Beckham was accused of driving at 59mph in a 40mph zone on the A40 in Paddington, West London.

But in September District Judge Barbara Barnes dismissed the case at Wimbledon Magistrates court.

An assistant at the Bentley office where the car was lease was “100 per cent confident” the speeding notice did not arrive until the day after the 14-day window

The case was dismissed on the mere technicality that Beckham was not served with the notice in the stipulated time-frame.

Not new to controversy

While still at Manchester United, David Beckham was banned from driving his Ferrari after being caught cruising down the A34 near Cheadle at 74 mph – 24 mph above the limit.

But the conviction was later overturned after Mr Freeman argued the star was simply attempting to escape newspaper photographers who had been snapping him outside his home – 10 miles away.

Beckham again

Recently, Beckham is said to have been spotted using his phone while behind the wheel. It is not clear whether Mr Loophole will be called to action though. However, who else can get Becks off the hook?
