Two contractors in Gatundu were arraigned in court under charges of stealing materials worth Ksh.1million for electricity connection.
Wickliff Otieno Odhiambo and Samuel Mwangi Kibe were seized in Mataara, Gatundu North by the public while trying to escape the scene after some members raised an alarm.
They on Tuesday appeared before Senior Resident Magistrate Carolyn Makori at a Gatundu Law Court.
They were released on cash bail of Ksh.500,000 or bond of Ksh.1,000,000 each.
The case is set for mention on March 1, 2019.
