Nominated Senator Milicent Omanga has shared her harsh sentiments on one of the most controversial memes that had tainted her image during the 2017 General Elections.
According to the gorgeous Senator, the embarrassing meme was a that of the Senator sitting on Babu Owino, the Embakasi East Member of Parliament.
While being interviewed by one of the local dailies, Omanga recently revealed that she was appalled by the ‘insulting’ drawing that showed her sitting on Babu Owino!
In 2017, the two aspiring politicians had locked horns after a nasty confrontation online where Omanga had confronted Owino for insulting Interior CS Fred Matiangi after the conclusion of the Presidential Elections.
Nevertheless, the senator disclosed that at the time, she was extremely worried that her image as a mother would be perceived negatively by her children as a result of the meme that was doing rounds on social media.
She could only imagine the embarrassment that her kids experienced after seeing such a photo of their mother in such a way!
Hence, to prevent her family further humiliation, she had to sit them down and explain to them that such memes are normal in the world of politics, and they come as a result of the freedom of self-expression that individuals have on Social Media.
In retaliation, she promised to deal directly with Owino, vowing to teach him a lesson if the State had failed to do so!
From the now-deleted Facebook post, Omanga made the bold statement that she would circumcise Babu Owino!
In recent times, however, the duo has made peace ever since the Uhuru-Raila handshake came into fruition.
The two have promised to work together for the benefit of the Kenyan people.
Nonetheless, the aforementioned incident is one that Omanga says will go down as one of the most shocking in her political history!
