Just where can KSh2.5 BILLION reach if arranged in a straight line?

Renovations are nearing completion in Wayne Rooney’s opulent Cheshire mansion, even as the record-holding Manchester United player is out playing in DC.

The 40-acre estate will, after completion, be house to the famous couple alongside their four children, nine-year-old Kai, five-year-old Klay, three-year-old Kit, and baby Cass.

Rooney scored 253 goals for United in all competitions to make him their top goalscorer of all time, with 183 Premier League goals being the most scored by a player for any single club.

What 2.5 Billion Shillings can do

For the uninitiated, 2 billion is such a colossal amount of money. The sh1000 note is approximately 15cm. If one was to arrange 2.5 billion shillings in a straight line, it could cover a total distance of 375 Kilometres! Yes, you read it right.

The distance from Nairobi to Kisumu is only 342 Kilometres. This technically means you could arrange 1000 shillings side by side from Nairobi to Kisumu, and still be left with pocket change enough to cover another 33 Kilometres!

Ksh 2.5 billion in terms of spending

This may probably not make sense to you. So, let’s discuss it in terms of spending.

Assuming you spend Ksh 100,000 each day, it would take you another 69 years on top of your current age to blow the whole amount.

But Rooney is not spending his entire earnings on the home. This is just a fraction of his disposable income!

Impressive features

The impressive mansion is said to feature a bar, snooker room, cinema, and indoor swimming pool, as well as six en-suite bedrooms.

Talking of decor and exquisite interiors, 2.5 billion Kenyan shillings is enough to carpet 7.5 acres of floor space!
