A Cessna plane, on Wednesday, crashed in Makaton Forest in Londiani, Kericho County killing all people on board.

This brings memories of Fly Sax aircraft that crashed in June 2018 on the Aberdares forest killing all 10 people on board.
Unlike, the Fly Sax plane which took some time to be traced, the Cessna plane has been easily traced. However, in both crushes, no one survived.
At least Five people including foreigners have lost their lives in the incident. They had boarded the plane in the Maasai Mara, which later crashed in Makutano forest, Londiani in the outskirts of Kericho town.
The light Cessna plane was flying from Maasai Mara Game Reserve en route to Lowdar.
Confirming the incident, Rift Valley Police Commander Edward Mwamburi disclosed that police and rescue teams were headed to the scene.
Air wing Commander Rodgers Mbithi told journalists that all the occupants had succumbed in the crash.
The Cessna plane reportedly developed a mechanical problem before hitting a tree.
During the crash, Londiani, residents gathered at the scene to try to save the injured, but they weren’t successful.
