After months of speculation, the football fraternity has now been informed of Jose Mourinho’s next move after it was revealed that the former Manchester United boss would be the starring TV show host for a Russian programme called On the Touchline.
The new job will require the 56-year old to provide an in-depth analysis of the current events in the Champions League, including all the games held in fortnights to come.
In fact, prior to his recent Manchester United woes, the ex-Real Madrid coach worked extensively with RT, a Moscow based media network to deliver content on the 2018 World Cup that was hosted in Russia.
And after his two and a half year coaching position at Manchester United, the former Champions League winner with Porto was relieved of his duties following a series of undesired runs with the Manchester-based club.
That being said, Mourinho expressed excitement on the new position and will have his first punditry with On the Touchline on March 7th, 2019.
One of Mourinho’s former coaching club’s Chelsea, suffered a humiliating loss on Sunday afternoon after being thumped a shocking 6-0 by Manchester City.
In a show of disrespect, City fans could be heard reverberating all around the stadium with chants of You need Mourinho to the demoralized Chelsea players, as well as the Chelsea faithful.
But now that seems highly unlikely considering Mourinho has moved onto greener pastures!
