The Kenya Red Cross has launched a 5 multi million water project in Homabay County.
The project is aimed at making it possible for the residents to get a full supply of water which is a basic need.
The RedCross Boss Abbas Gullet yesterday shared that they had launched this project which was made possible through funding from the Central Government.
The launch of water projects was held in Rangwe, Homa Bay and already the ordinary people are getting water at their doorstep.
Abbas Gullet thanked the Water CS Simon Chelgui & Area MP Hon. Lilian Gogo as well as the President for making it possible.

In other projects that they have taken up in other counties, 48 youth in Likoni, Mombasa were supported with fishing boats with engines and equipment including fishing nets under a youth empowerment project funded by @EUinKenya
The Kenya Red Cross with funding from @EUinKenya is also changing the lives of youth once involved in violent behaviour and are now rehabilitated in 8 Counties: Kwale, Mombasa, Kilifi, Lamu, Tana River, Garissa, Wajir and Mandera.
