Finally, Caroline Mwatha has been found. Sadly, Dead!

The body of Caroline Mwatha, a human activist who went missing on February 6, 2018 has been found at the City Mortuary in Nairobi. It seems that City mortuary is where all victims of murder are disposed.

Mwatha, who is the founder member of Dandora community, disappeared from her home on Wednesday under mysterious circumstances, and her disappearance was reported at the Buru Buru police station.

A detective involved in the murder of Mwatha says one suspect who happens to be a woman who owns a clinic has been arrested.

Investigations Indicate that the deceased was at the clinic where she sought unspecified medical services before she was taken to the mortuary.

Police Spokesman Charles Owino stated that DCI is finalizing on investigations before charges for the murder are administered.

Police sources indicated that Mwatha’s body was taken to the mortuary on February 7, 2018, exactly a day after she was reported missing.

Her family stated they had checked  previously but did not find her. However, it is a great relief and at the same time

disheartening news for the deceased family.
