Life is dynamic meaning change is everyday life characteristic that cannot be prevented as people scale higher heights and try new challenges.
This has hit the tourism sector of Machakos who don’t wish but in good faith have had to let go of one oftheir favorites.
Machakos Tourism County Executive Committee (CEC) member, Faith Wahome, has resigned from her position.
In a press statement posted on Facebook, Governor Alfred Mutua, stated Ms. Wahome has requested to be released from her position due to personal reasons.
“Even though I would wish her to continue serving in my Government due to her exemplary service, I respect her wish and hence my decision to accept her request,” the Governor stated.
Governor Mutua further stated he planned to work with Ms. Wahome in the future.
“I plan to engage her in other ways so that she can continue providing expertise and knowledge to the people of Machakos,” he added.
“In the meantime, I have appointed Hon. Francis Mwaka, the Minister for Trade, Innovation and Industrialization to act in the docket of Tourism, Sports and Culture,” the Governor continued.
Mutua also wished Wahome well in her future undertakings, sincerely thanking her for the service she rendered to the Government and the people of Machakos.
