Popularly known as Kulmax, Uasin Gishu police officer Danson Njuguna believes that a music collaboration with Khaligraph, whom he considers to be the best artist in Africa, would greatly help him expand his fanbase.
Kulmax, who is in his mid-30s, revealed that he ventured into the music industry in 2013, and believes that he is yet to showcase his full music talent.
Having served in the police force for 15 years, he revealed that balancing music with the police service was not a joke.
He stated that his source of inspiration for doing music was real-life daily occurrences.
Furthermore, he divulged that he has six songs, which all have videos on YouTube: ‘Roho Juu’, ‘Tunangaa‘, ‘Sema Zii‘, ‘Penzi la Kisoja‘, ‘Kanyagia‘ and ‘Tetemesha’.
He has recorded with various Kenyan studios, including Ogopa DJs, Mainswitch, Jomino Entertainment, and Bigsouls.
On Valentines Day, he plans on releasing his latest single, ‘Addicted’. He also hopes to launch his album,’Penzi la kisoja‘ by the end of 2019.
More so, Kulmax would like to work with Stella Mwangi whom he considers to be the best female rapper in Africa.
