DP Ruto says rival Murathe can seek help in investigating him

Jubilee Party Vice Chairman David Murathe has pulicly vowed to do anything to stop deputy President William Ruto from succeeding President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022 with many negtive reasons attached to it.

Deputy President William Ruto on Friday partially addressed allegations levelled against him by former Jubilee Vice Chair David Murathe.

In a question and answer session during the Chatham House lecture, Ruto, though trying to avoid the matter, spoke on doubts cast on his suitability to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022.

One among those in the audience, a reporter of Financial Times, asked the DP to respond to the accusations but he stated, “I have not responded to Murathe in Kenya. I am not about to respond to him in Europe.”

Ruto proceeded to indicate that Murathe was free to go anywhere with his allegations and even seek help in investigating him.

The Deputy President was adamant that he was committed his job of fulfilling the Big 4 Agenda of the Jubilee Administration without engaging in the sideshows.

Deputy President William Ruto has proposed a review of the constitution that would accommodate election losers in the running of the country.

The DP said every time Kenya holds an election, politicians only expect one outcome: to win which becomes a big war based on denial.
