Bridget Achieng was blessed with a bouncing baby boy on Tuesday. She has opened up on the pain she felt after her Nigerian baby daddy abandoned her while three months pregnant. She has revealed this in a video she has shared on her YouTube channel,’message to my baby daddy.’
The baby daddy has never contacted her sine then, ”Since I got pregnant I haven’t been taking interviews because I don’t want my story to be twisted. I got abandoned with the pregnancy at three months old. Since my baby daddy left, I have never set my eyes on him and he has never contacted me.
She goes ahead to tell the baby daddy; ” When you asked me to terminate my pregnancy when I was three months pregnant I was all alone, disturbed and depressed. I don’t know what made you go away, I don’t know what made you run away. I kept looking at myself in the mirror and asking ‘am I ugly?’

She says she recorded the video because a lot of girls need to hear it. She found peace in the course of her pregnancy and carries n grudges against the baby daddy; “Carrying this baby for the past nine months has been a dream come true. I don’t know why God chose you to be my child’s father over the other guys who treated me better. Wherever you are, I just want you to know that I will never hold it against you. But I just want to say thank you for giving me my son.”
Many girls mess up in life for the thing they do for love. As Bridget story portrays, the man would be happy if she carried out the abortion. Maybe after the abortion he would not have abandoned her. What would be the fate of Bridget?
