Nominated Senator Millicent Omanga on Wednesday revealed that she does not wear make-up because she is naturally beautiful.
Speaking during an interview on a local radio station, Omanga further stated that she is conservative partly because she is a member of the Seventh Day Adventist.
“The way I was brought up…I am a Seventh Day Adventist. I started putting on trousers after finishing university. “It is a culture…we are a bit conservative,” she said.
Asked about her steady rise in politics, Omanga said she involved herself in politics at an early age and although DP William Ruto played a part in her journey, her husband has been her pillar.
She also rubbished claims that were it not for the DP she would be selling bed sheets, saying she has always been a businesswoman and has stalls all over.
“It wasn’t bed sheets only but you understand the social media…I have been doing business for long until now.
