The Real Madrid’s defender Sergio Ramos statistics on bookings are just insane.
The defender’s LaLiga total not only sees him lead the way in Spain, but across all of Europe’s major leagues. In fact the 32-year-old is the most carded player in the history of La Liga, and is also the most carded player in the Champions League
He is also the most carded player for his country, Spain, and the most carded player in El Clásico history.
The defender’s yellow card against Barcelona on Wednesday night, means he has actually accumulated over 200 yellow cards and 24 red cards in his career thus far, which is just insane. It surprised many that, the man has been involved in so many fouls and tackles, lasted the entire match after he received the yellow card in the 10th minute during the El Clasico.
Ramos loves big games, especially El Clasico, but has a rather astonishing record against their greatest rivals. He received a yellow from referee Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea for a foul on Barcelona defender Nelson Semedo.
He did not like this rudeness from Semedo.
Semedo can be too rude.. Sending Ramos parking there.. Can't wait for the potato station return leg.. #ElClasico @_nelsonsemedo_ @Phil_Coutinho @Dembouz pic.twitter.com/4MIWUCpBJs

Ramos has 19 red cards in La Liga, three in the Champions League and two in the Copa del Rey but he surprisingly never received a red card in 2018.
The Real’s skipper is never going to change any time soon. Actually, many times he’s been lucky to escape a yellow or a red which means the tally could have been much higher.
He is, however, respected by most players, even in Barcelona. Prior to the match yesternight, Barcelona chief Josep Maria Bartomeu lauded Ramos.
“Ramos is a great captain,” Bartomeu said as reported by Express. “Very respected with everyone and they have an excellent relationship with our players.”
He has been at Real Madrid since 2015 when he left Sevilla.
