This is part of an oncoming overhaul in Kenya’s transport sector. Nairobi is expected to implement car-free days in the CBD. At the same time, President Uhuru Kenyatta intends to acquire Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) for the country which will call for special lanes dedicated to the said buses.
