Barely two days have gone by since the controversial blogger faced her latest episode of a tyrrad of mockery and cyber bullying on social media that she has finally spoke out on the matter. On Saturday morning Lisa Gaitho released a video on her Youtube channel announcing her renewed faith and celibacy status. Kenyans all over took to twitter with many bashing and ridiculing her choices in life. Many teased that after advising Kenyan women to bathe and feed their spouses she had been dumped. She became the laughing stock to many with her name trending on twitter the whole day.
Well Lisa is not one to shy away when her name is being dragged through the mud. She has come out on her Instagram to set the record straight on a live video she conducted. Lisa reassures Kenyans that she doesn’t care whether they follow her or not and that there’s nothing anyone can say to make her feel guilty.
She admits to being weak just like everyone else crediting her perceived strength to God. “I am not strong! I just have thicker skin and the strength of God with me.”
She admits to getting bewildered at the ridicule she received and warns people not to send her emails telling her about herself. “Get thee behind me Satan!” was her snap back at one hater who emailed her telling her she has dependency issues as well as low self esteem because she moved to Nigeria for a man. She reckons that she put the video up for her own accountability.
“Don’t get it twisted, If/when I get married, I will still wash my husband if that’s what he likes. I’m a server!” was her parting shot.
Whether or not you agree or disagree with how she does things, you have to admit, Lisa Gaitho is one courageous young lady. This is definitely not the last we’re hearing from her.
