Kenyan Premier League side Tusker FC is set to lose winger Boniface Muchiri with the player expected to join an unnamed side in the United States of America.

The player has been working on his VISA and should leave the country anytime this week for the States with the player last appearance for the club being in their outing against Posta Rangers on Saturday in the league; a match that ended in a scoreless draw.

Muchiri joined Tusker in June 2017 from Sony Sugar FC with the player then having said Tusker was a step in ensuring he achieved his dream of playing in Europe.

Should the deal go through, Muchiri won’t be the first Kenyan player to feature in the States with a lot of players played their trade in the country.

Defender David ‘Cheche’ Ochieng had previously featured for New York Cosmos, young defender Joseph Okumu and forward Crispinus Ochieng having featured for Ann Arbor FC with Lawrence Olum being one of the players to have spent almost his entire playing career in the States.
